Default European mount

Here is a step by step way to start and finish a European deer mount. For starters don't go on YouTube as I have never seen a European mount with the upper teeth still attached. In fact, they remove the lower jaw with the set of teeth and put them in a slot mitered out on the rear of the plaque. The teeth ate proof of age which is assigned a grade in Germany, Poland and Austria that becomes part of the final score. Also Americans use all kind of goofy products to make the skull look pure white like white plastic. I prefer the more natural tones. I do use some bleach in the process but this is for odor control and aids in tissue removal. Use a sawsall with a rigid blade when sawing the skull. Use a small drill bit as a pilot hole in the location shown in picture 5 as the skull is 3/4 inch thick in this area and will anchor nicely to the plaque there with a 2 inch deck screw. Questions welcome.

Talk to yourself. There are times you need expert advice.
