Thanks to advice from j0e_bl0ggs and considerable assistance from Sakorick, I am the new owner of this Krico .22 RF.

Here's the Gunbroker ad description:
This krico rifle is not marked with model info, but I believe it is a Model 260. It is a nice looking .22lr cal Semi-auto. The action appears very similar to the Savage/Stevens semi auto rifles. This rifle was made in 1969 and looks very nice. The bore is excellent and the action functions as it should. The sights are original and complete. The receiver is grooved. Overall a nice looking semi-auto 22.
MAKE:Krico

Rick has the rifle now, and is going to "pretty-up" the stock for me.

He can relay the details about the rifle as he has it in his hands. One of the features that really endeared me to the rifle was the schnabel fore end. I like those. As a rule, I DON'T like "hogsback" butt stocks. However, it's not for the looks, which I don't dislike, but rather the recoil. I really don't understand the German's love of hogsback butt stocks. The design takes the recoil right into your face. I have an old custom-made, pre-WWII 8mm Mauser hunting rifle that belonged to my father-in-law. It is the most unpleasant-to-shoot rifle I own because of that hogsback. Of course, in a .22 RF, recoil is a non-issue, so a hogsback is also a non-issue. And like I said, I don't have a problem with the 'look'.
