If we are related to the crucified Christ by faith, the power of HIS death, makes us dead to self and to sin.   The risen Christ, living in us through the Holy Spirit, gives us life in its most complete form.
When we die to self in Christ, we discover who we really are and what life is all about.  It is about following the Son of God in faith.
Is that thought frightening?  After all, you cannot know  in advance where HE may lead you. What if it's somewhere you do not want to go or afraid to go?

Reflect on the One who is leading you.  He's the One who loved you enough to die for you and wants to give you abundant life.
Where ever He leads, you can be sure of four things:
1. He will go with you
2. He will equip you for what HE wants you to do
3. Following Him will give you the most fulilled life you could have
4. Following Him will bless others

Father, thank YOU for my new life in Christ.
Help me to follow faithfully  whereever You lead me.

I can't be stoic anymore...........I cry

you have my prayers daily..i had a bad cold for a week and then i got slight round of food poisoning so i haven't been around too much but am feeling good now..

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather.

I'm OK.  Jesus is beside me helping every step of the way.
And I know you are too and a lot of others.

I've tried to be stoic and silent for John, he's soo concerned about my welfare, he pops in and out all day between sessions to see if I'm ok.

This whole thing is like a nightmare and I can't seem to wake up.

I know..He is sitting here beside me.  I can feel HIS presence.

He has calmed me.  Held me in HIS arms and held me.

I know we have many blessing coming our way and we have already had blessings to prepare us for what was coming.  He prepared the way.  Now I know why certain blessings were brought to us.

I know that feeling well Jeff.  I've lead myself into many ditches in my life time and Jesus has found me and pulled me out!!
