I want to start bowhunting, but need some advice on a bow. I have one right now that a neighbor let me borrow and I out grew it. It still works alright, but the draw length is at its max and its too short. I want to know what a good bow would be without spending a fortune, but also I don't want a piece of crap. I'll be using it for deer (and the occasional groundhog that comes in my yard). What do you all think? Thanks in advance.

The 30-06 is like a perfect steak next to a campfire, a .300 Win Mag is the same but with mushrooms, a baked potato, and some A-1 Steak sauce...

1.  Go to a pro shop
 2.  Look for last years models
 3.  The package deals will give you what you need for the cheapest
 4.  Most all new bows are quality   Hoyt, PSE, Parker, Mathews, Archery Research among others

I have heard of limbs cracking on Mathews on more than one occasion
