I have been hunting over a 100 acre plowed cornfield with a large pond.....sounds like prime dove habitat....but very slow shooting...it has just been too bloomin' hot....this week the highs are going from 100-103 to around 83-86 and the lows they say will be around 60 on Thursday and Friday...yippeee....we'll see if we get a new batch of birds that haven't had too much lead thrown at them yet.....

:) I have a bird hunt'n trip set up for nov,1st on one of those hunt'n preserve, My wife gave it to me for my birthday, It's for grouse, quail, and pheasant. I'm tak'in tow of my friends with me.
