I have several thousand American Goldfinches and many species of dickey birds. I caught a Goldfinch this morning eating Sunflowers and this handsome Lark Sparrow. The Goldfinches are extremely flighty but they love Sunflowers. Some of the most beautiful birds come in small packages!

Yep, they sure do!
We are invaded spring and fall by the lesser goldfinch, they are after the sweet gum seeds in the spring and the grass seeds in the fall.
