Mossberg 144US

These target rifles were made in the late 40's and early 50's. They were built by Mossberg as a target rifle for the US Navy then found there way to JROTC units and NRA clubs for target shooting. I don't know how many were made, however, there weren't many.

I finally got my 144 together and shot it's first group at 50 yards.....I'm impressed! I call this one "Blondie".  Regards. Rick.

Nice shooting Rick. How good is that for such old technology, goes to show how good the old fashioned craftmanship was. Nice Rifle to boot.
