Enough!
I am so beyond shock, shame, disgust, what other adjectives can I find to define my feelings about our current POTUS and his administration. I have watched as every new outrage has gone down and I used to think I had seen it all. Today the so called Justice Dept. file it's threatened lawsuit against Arizona for trying to protect their borders. How much more is going to have to happen for people to wake up and realize this guy B. O. does NOT have any of America's best interest's in his heart. Today Nasa's head man released the message that rather than space exploration, one of his three top objectives will now be better relations with Muslims. Tell me please what does this have to do with Space?
He tried to tell everybody, his goal was to transform America. People who voted for him forgot to ask into what? And more importantly what in the world makes him soooo smart that he has the right to change the country founded by men such as Washington, Adams, Jefferson etc... O.B. isn't fit to tie their shoes.
To anyone here who doesn't vote, I beg you for the sake of all that America has ever stood for , for all that she once was, please please go and vote this november. We cannot remove O.B. for another two years, God willing, we can at least put the breaks on a national train wreck.

Re: Enough!
I totally agree, RB!
This administration has been the worst disaster to ever hit our country. (And we have seen some doosies.)
The blame rides squarely on the shoulders of Americans that voted him into office. Therein lies the only "fix" we have for the problem.
Only then can we start working on the collateral damage done by Bat-Ears and his socialist henchmen.

Re: Enough!
i emailed my congress people that they should ask for the resignation of any government person who refuses to enforce the immigration laws as they are currently written. this is a real travesty of justice. when a state is sued by the fed for enforcing federal law.

Re: Enough!
Aw, it is just that Obummer really, really loves the criminal alien invaders, his black heart just goes out to them.
I have noticed a few McCain/ Palin stickers still on cars, but I do not believe I have seen an Obama/ what's his name in a long time.
The ***xx may be losing his shine.

Re: Enough!
Sometimes enough is enough. But eventually enough is too much.
This guy's policies have too much for me since ohhh, January 2009 or so.
This isn't the icing on the cake yet.
I've seen some shift in his party's candidates of late, in the face of November's elections. All in the effort to keep their seats. But just wait until he figures out he's a lame duck with nothing to lose.
I figured out long ago that I have the most to fear from those with the least to lose.

Re: Enough!
For me, I see the political side of things, and also see the affects of failed border policies right up close and personal. I can look out my front door, and can quite literally see Mexico.
Bat-boy may be the first imposter-in-chief to declare war on his own (???) country. Certainly on at least one of the states there of.
I've lived on the US/Mexico border most of my life. I was born here, so there was no "adapting" to hispanic cultures for me because I was raised around it.
What I'm seeing now it not "culture". It's an invasion and attempted take over, and the liberal/progressives apparently are all for encouraging it to happen.
I've carried a handgun here most of my life. For the last 8 years, it's mostly been a simple J-frame Smith & Wesson 5 shot revolver. I recently picked up a Glock (ptooey), simply because of increased risks in this area.
Like 'em or not, they go "bang" when you pull the trigger. They also hold a lot of ammo.
Recently, there were 21 people killed in a drug/human smuggling shootout of some kind just west of me, and just south of the border. In that same area, drug cartels are threatening to put out hits on Arizona LEO's for doing their jobs by making drug busts when "off-duty". Trouble is, an officer is "always" considered on-duty in Arizona. The fact that the cartel knew the involved officer's names means they're getting inside information.
Less than a week ago there was a Mexican LEO killed in Naco, Sonora that appeared to be a "hit". I can see the lights of Naco from my front door at night.
I knew Rob Krentz in a casual way. I sometimes hunt on his family's ranch. His death, no matter how casually it may have been reported, was also a "hit". They won't claim it officially, but every LEO I've talked with in this area agrees with that assessment. His brother reported a human "mule" train packing drugs the day before, and they were caught with 285 lbs of marijuana. Again, how'd the carted know who'd reported them? Inside informants. There's a well-traveled road through that ranch, so it had to be.
Boy Zero has apparently declared war on Arizona, and at the same time Arizona is facing a lot of risk from the south. The Fed's have closed the Buenos Aries National Wildlife Refuge to US citizens in Arizona because of the danger presented by drug cartels shipping through that area via humal mule trains. As far as 80 miles north of there, they've posted signs warning citizens against traveling in the area, yet claim "the border is as secure as it's ever been".
Which is technically true. What's changed is the threat presented by the unsecured border.
And with the fed's pushing to enforce unenforcement of federal and state laws concerining border security, the people here are taking steps to protect themselves. I don't know anyone here that doesn't own a gun these days, including my mother and 87 Y/O grandmother.
We're to a point where doing "nothing" is no longer an option concerning border security. "Nothing" will simply result in "something else" happening. Drug cartels and human smuggling rings are pushing harder and harder to control areas, and violence is only going to escalate as long as the boder remains unsecured.
For the first time in my life, I'm having to evaluate where I want to live, and why? What do you do when your homeland is being invaded by generally militant type forces (drug and human smugglers), and your government can't/won't address the issue? My wife and I can leave, but what abouit other relatives and friends in the area who can't or won't leave? Can't really abandon them in good conscience, yet my wife won't leave me here either, so my staying may put her at risk if things continue to get worse.
and I see nothing to prevent things from getting worse. Nothing at all.

Re: Enough!
i am not much of a legal mind, but would there be a possibility to file a class action law suit against the US govt for failure to protect the citizens of our southern border states. seems the constitutuion guaranties this protection from foreign invaders.

I doubt it.
Not that I don't like the idea though.
The SCOTUS, long ago, ruled that law enforcement officers can't be held liable for anyone's safety. I suppose that'd hold about triple for the fed's.
But Arizona is one of the more gun-friendly states; especially with Governor Jan Brewer. The people here aren't going to sit on their thumbs waiting for protection from D.C..
I've asked a few LEO's (local, state, and federal) what they'll do if given orders that they believe to not be in accordance with the US Constitution. To a man, they said they'd stand by their oath.
As a curiosity, every federal law enforcement officer I've talked with agrees with the steps Arizona is taking. The local and state LEO's do as well.
It's only the higher-ups, distanced from the situation, that deny a problem. The guys in the field see it up close and personal on a daily basis.
