Hey everyone,

Been out of pocket a couple of days hunting dove in Texas.
There were 24 of us....mostly from Lousiana...LOL. The food was great & the hunting was pretty good. Not the swams you have in early season, but enough to get a limit if you were lucky.

I shot my Winchester 9410 most of the time. It is a very good dove gun,...........only the ones that were REAL high were off limits. Took my old double 12ga out once & it shined too...(Springfield 1915)

Remind yourself often to SEE not just "look".

The dove showed up here last week... swarms of whitewing flying low... didn't shoot too much... it almost November...enough for a meal...the guys next door to us sounded like they were at war...

Personal field testing trumps everything no matter what Field and Stream says, what your degree of perceived manhood is, or what your buddies think.
