ok Daryl here you go again.
 
Materials to be had on hand. 1/16th Ferrules ans "S" hooks or you can buy Jack chain and cut your hooks out of that or something similar as what I did.

 
3/32nd and Cam Locks (my locking mechanism)

 
All four items minus the cable for the actual snare.

 
Bend a loop and mash er flat thru the ferrules.

 
Slide the cam lock on and bend a smaller loop and mash er flat thru another ferrule, and take that loop and hook it into one side of the S hook and bend that over and the same goes for the cam lock side.
 

 

 
Finshed product loop up and use a zip tie to keep it this way..Its easy enuf to cut it off in the field and go about your buisness faster rather than satying out in the cold longer than necessary trying to unravel all the snares ( and trust me this sucks) also this way you can carry a bunch by putting your arms thru them and setting multiple snares at one site.
