Win 296 was the standard .410 powder for years. It was replaced by H110 when Hornady took over the Winchester powders. When I ran out of the 5 pound keg I had for 30 odd years, I picked up some H110 and it looked just like W296. I called Hornady and the techie told me that it looked the same because it is eggzactly the same thing. H110 is a rebranded Win296. Why they just didn't call it H296 is beyond me!
