Default Whisker Biscuit

I recently put a whisker biscuit rest on my bow. The set up shoots really well and I like the arrow not falling off the rest when maneuvering the bow. The problem is that it makes too much noise when drawing (arrow drag across the "whiskers"). I believe it would spook a close deer on a calm, quiet day. Does anyone have any tips on quieting this rest? (before I replace it)

Thanks
