Re: Loadign the .222 Remington
Errr RJ you do realise that's at only 50 yards Well I tried all the other loads at the 78 meter (82 yards) range this afternoon and my how the weather changed. I got to the range at 11:50 and there were a few clouds gathering . The ones who shot this morning decidied they were packing up and i could not shoot as there was no one to watch the FP and close up the range. Then Carl the range owner arrived with a couple of rifles so it was obvious he wanted to shoot and was surprised to see them going.
So it was just Carl a young boy and myself, the others didn't get away as the heavens opened and for about 40 minutes the rain and hail stones fell out fo the sky drenching everything.
Anyway it did clear up and I got to shoot and I will take photos of the groups tomorrow in the light as it's dark now. I am hoping to get the loads good enough to get 5 shot groups of 1" or less at 75 meters which is not that tall an order surely?
