thanks. i enjoyed that. i will seldom get upset about anything i read. i too have found certain bullet weights shoot better in certain rifles. never attributed it to twist rate. the old smooth bores probably had some shoot better than others and had no rifling at all. as long as i can still keep decent groups with iron sights, i will not worry about "over stabilization." just didnt want to buy a box of bullets that i couldnt get to stay on the paper
