here is a photo of my son with his first muledeer he is 13 he shot the buck at 200 yard and nicked the leg the deer ran across the canyon where he killed it at 400 yards I thaink he had a little buck fever

Hey, I have one also, Savage model 99R , in 300 sav, mine has an old weaver 2x5 scope on it in a side mount, I use the 180gr, They must be good'ns because we have one LOL:D

The first time with my kids is nothing but good memories and a great education for them. Looks like your son has a little bit to brag about as well. Nice job!
