Tonight in the crockpot we are having corned beef and cabbage with potato's and carrots.  For desert maybe an Apple Dumpling with homemade icecream.

Catfish!....:D ............(fresh caught in the creek , yesterday....We don't do deserts)..............BH51....

now your catfish sounds mighty good.  Wish we had a creek to go fishing for supper.

don't have catfish on the menu, davidt....now,.....there are a couple of
specie that I don't keep, like mudcat and maybe a small spotted catfish,
but willow cat (as illustrated) channel, flatheads and blues, are all keepers
over 3/4 lb...I caught two, one about 1 1/2 lb & 3 lb....They good.....BH51...

Most we catch around here are channel, flathead, and blue cats.
 
They're fun to catch when they get upwards of 15-20 lbs.

to be honest with you, I have no idea what kind of catfish they are. We call them hornpout. they rarely get much bigger than 10". lots of peope do eat them up here though. they are just a pain to clean and I would rather have a brook trout, salmon, or lake trout. God Bless.
