New Mexico Mule Deer Hunt - Advice? Unit 51

Is anyone familiar with this unit near Chama, NM? I can't make it out to scout like I planned because of back surgery and was hoping I could get a few pointers from people with experience in this unit. The hunt is for the end of October/beginning of November?
Any advice/pointers would be GREATLY appreciated.
